I am a government professional and self-taught systems administrator based in Auburn, CA. I work as a Customer Service Specialist at the City of Roseville Parks, Recreation and Libraries, handling high-volume public operations and providing front-line technical support at public kiosks.
Outside of work I run a personal Oracle Cloud Infrastructure home lab with Docker containers, Linux servers, and self-hosted services. I built this entirely from scratch because I genuinely enjoy it and wanted real hands-on experience.
I am pursuing a BS in Public Health with a Business Administration minor at the University of the Cumberlands while working full-time, maintaining a 3.692 GPA. My goal is to move into a government IT role and grow from there.

Provisioned and administers an Ubuntu Linux server on OCI accessed exclusively via SSH. Deployed Docker containers including Jellyfin media server. Diagnosed and resolved service conflicts through system log analysis. Manages port forwarding, firewall rules, and network routing for external access.
Developed Python-based Twitch integrations and moderation bots. Experimented with AI API integrations for local automation and data processing. Built scripts for system administration, log parsing, and operational tasks.
Builds and troubleshoots personal computers from components. Recovered a failed Windows PC following a corrupted BIOS update by creating a USB recovery drive and performing a manual BIOS flash. Configured NAS storage for local data redundancy.
Built and deployed a full production web stack from scratch on Oracle Cloud free tier. Provisioned an ARM server, configured Nginx, set up a load balancer, registered a domain, wired up Cloudflare for DDoS protection and CDN, and secured everything with SSL. Zero monthly cost.
